Stop Worrying About What Others Think

20130320-081045.jpg

Too much thought is being given to what others think. Right now you are following the line of thinking of what someone will think if you do a certain thing. That line of thinking came on the heels of what you thought another person close to you might think about this particular thing…and then another person… and then another. Get out of that quandary. Quit worrying about what others think. The enemy wants to keep you doing this and as long as you will let him he will. Close that door right now. Precious, when you get your mind on doing only what I think, the rest will fall into place.

1 Peter 5:6-8 (NASB) “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Trust

20130318-101449.jpg
TRUST ME ONE DAY AT A TIME. this keeps you close to Me, responsive to My will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. My Spirit within you is your resident Tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavor. Yield to His gentle touch : be sensitive to His prompting.

Exert your will to trust Me in all circumstances. Don’t let your need to understand distract you from My Presence. I will equip you to get through this day victoriously, as you live in deep dependence on Me. Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself: don’t get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust Me one day at a time.

Psalm 84:12 O Lord of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You.

Matthew 6:34 34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

My New Friends

I just want to thank everyone of you who follow my blog, to take time from your blog to like my writings mean so much to me, I appreciate each of you from every like, to the comments left. I take blogging very serious it’s my way of letting my readers into my world. I am a real person with real feelings and I keep it real with all I meet. Thank you again for blessing my blog with your visit.
Being friends is about sharing our lives with others. There are some aspects of our lives that require that we spend a lot of time together or a lot of writing to help convey our feelings. Other times sharing only a few words are more than adequate. It is not always the long conversation that conveys the deepest feelings. Sometimes, longer modes of expression may seem redundant and lacking in profundity. Putting just the right combination of words on paper in a succinct style may just hit the spot.

Dedicated to all my new friends and old friends to!

Walk By Faith, Not By Sight

WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT. As you take steps of faith, depending on Me, I will show you how much I can do for you. If you live your life too safely, you will never know the thrill of seeing Me work through you. When I gave you My Spirit, I empowered you to live beyond your natural ability and strength. That’s why it is so wrong to measure your energy level against the challenges ahead of you. The issue is not your strength but Mine, which is limitless. By walking close to Me, you can accomplish My purpose in My strength.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit

Rest In My Radiant Presence

REST IN MY RADIANT PRESENCE. The world around you seems to spin faster and faster, till everything is a blur. Yet there is a cushion of calm at the center of your life, where you live in union with Me. Return to this soothing
Center as often as you can, for this is where you are energized: filled with My Love, Joy, and Peace.

The world is a needy place: do not go there for sustenance. Instead, come to Me. Learn to depend on Me alone, and your weakness will become saturated with My Power. When you find your completeness in Me, you can help other people without using them to meet your own needs. Live in the Light of My Presence, and your light will shine brightly into the lives of others.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us

“Do not be afraid to defend the weak because of the anger of the strong; nor afraid to defend the poor because of the power of the rich.”

You Are Mine For All Time

and beyond time, into eternity. No power can deny you your inheritance in heaven. I want you to realize how utterly secure you are! Even if you falter as you journey through life. I will never let go of your hand.

Knowing that your future is absolutely assured can free you to live abundantly today. I have prepared this day for you with the most tender concern and attention to detail. Instead of approaching the day as a blank page that you need to fill up, try living it in a responsive mode: being on the lookout for all that I am doing. This sounds easy, but it requires a deep level of trust , based on the knowledge that My way is perfect.

Psalm 37:23-24
The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
24 When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong,
Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand

Psalm 18:30
As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is tried;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

“Do not be afraid to defend the weak because of the anger of the strong; nor afraid to defend the poor because of the power of the rich.”

He Took The Worries

What do we do with these worries? Take your anxieties to the cross–literally. Next time your worried about your health or house or finances or flights, take a mental trip on the hill. Spend a few moments looking again at the pieces of passion.

Run your thumb over the tip of the spear. Balance a spike in the palm of your hand. Read the wooden sign written in your own language. And as you do, touch the velvet dirt, moist with the blood of God. Blood he bled for you. The spear he took for you. The nails he felt for you. The sign you left for you.

He did all this for you. Knowing this, and know all he did for you there, don’t you think he will look out for you here?

Or as Paul wrote, “He did not spare his own son but gave him for us all. So with Jesus, God will surely give us all things” (Romans 8:32).

Do yourself a favor; take your anxious moments to the cross. Leave them there with your band moments, your mad moments, and your anxious moments. And may I suggest one more? Your final moment.

Barring the return of Christ first, you and I will have one. A final moment. A final breath. A final widening of the eyes and beating of the heart. In a split second you’ll leave what you know and enter what you don’t.

That’s what bothers us. Death is the great unknown. We’re always a bit skittish about the unknown.

Sara certainly was. Denalyn and I thought it was a great idea. We would kidnap the girls from school and take them on a weekend trip. We made reservations at a hotel and cleared the trip with their teachers but kept it secret from our girls. When we showed up at Sara’s fourth grade classroom on Friday afternoon, we’d thought she’d be thrilled. She wasn’t. She was afraid. She didn’t want to leave!

As we left, I assured her nothing was wrong. We had come to take her to a fun place. Didn’t work. By the time we got to the car, she was crying. She was confused. She didn’t like the interruption.

Now do we. God promises to come at an unexpected hour and take us from the gray world we know to a golden world we don’t. But since we don’t, we aren’t sure we want to go. We even get upset at the thought of his coming.

For that reason God wants us to do what Sara finally did–trust her father. “Don’t let your hearts be troubled,” he urged. “I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am” (John 3).

By the way, in a short time Sara relaxed and enjoyed the trip. In fact, she didn’t want to come back. You won’t want to either.

Troubled about your final moments? Leave them at the foot of the cross. Leave them there with your bad moment, mad moments, and anxious moments.

About this time someone is thinking, “You know, Max, if I leave all those moments at the cross, I won’t have any moments left but good ones.” Well, what do you know? I guess you wont.

>> Make a list of everything your worrying about.–health, finances, family, job, and so on. Ask God to help you see all of them in light of eternity. Thank him that he’s looking out for you.

We Are Born With A Purpose

It is an incredible thing for us as human beings to know that we were born to reveal the likeness of God. God says of His people Israel, “This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise” (Isaiah 43:21). Although this Scripture is primarily speaking of Israel, it also relates to us as God’s redeemed people. God did not create us to for our own pleasure, but for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). He created us to show forth His praise and His glory in the earth (Isaiah 43:7).

We go to the New Testament and receive the same message (Ephesians 1:6-7; 13-14). We were created to “show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). The NET translation says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues (which is the correct word according to the Greek) of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

Each day when you wake up, your highest purpose is to reveal God’s virtues (the excellencies of the life of Jesus Christ who lives in you) to your husband, your children, and the world around you. And you thought you had no purpose in life? What higher vision could you have?

And you can extend that vision? Seek to be a FAMILY that is a praise to God in the earth, in your neighborhood, and in your church fellowship. What a great vision!
